An exciting lineup of musicians will be sharing the stage to honor and celebrate the exquisite artistry and musical legacy of Rafael Manríquez. Originally from Chile, Rafael lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years, and graced stages all over the United States with his beautiful voice, virtuoso guitar playing, and impressive repertoire of original compositions. This year’s concert features John Santos and his Quartet with special guest José Roberto Hernandez, Aileen Vance, Dan Voll, Duamuxa, Banda sin Nombre, Madelina y Feña, La Peña Community Chorus, Foreign Planet, and direct from Chile, Francisco Villa and Pati Carmona.

This evening will also launch Una canción de esperanza andariega / A Wandering Song of Hope, the first book to be published of Rafael’s poetry and songs with English translations.
