UC Jazz Ensembles, one of three student groups within Cal Performances, is dedicated to the performance, study, and promotion of jazz at UC Berkeley. The combos cover a wide range of repertoire and styles, including jazz standards, challenging contemporary material from composers such as Dave Liebman and Chick Corea, and the students’ own original compositions.
