TOO MUCH COFFEE MAN OPERA - An hour one-act Gonzo Opera. A zany, hilarious romantic tribute to the wonders of coffee bordering on the fantastical.

Too Much Coffee Man Opera is based on the comic character of Shannon Wheeler, with music by Emmy-Winning composer Daniel Steven Crafts.

TMCM Opera premiered in Portland, OR in 2006 and has since been produced in a variety of cities including San Diego (at ComiCon), Albuquerque and the Astoria Music Festival, always to sold out audiences.

Too Much Coffee Man Opera is the first of what is now called Gonzo Opera.  That is, real opera (not parody or pastiche) which allows singers to do all the wonderful things they can, but using wild and crazy plots and situations one would never expect from traditional opera.
