Educational Programming — The Vision

Our new home will allow us to offer a full array of activities associated with community music organizations. Some of the programming we're looking at:

  • Field trips to bring students to our facility for day-time performances and workshops

  • Outreach programs that send Freight musicians and teachers to school classrooms

  • Ensemble and master classes

  • Private and group instruction

  • A library/resource center of books, photographs, recordings, videos, memorabilia, etc.

  • Touring musicians can conduct workshops, lectures, and symposiums

  • A retail outlet offering books, recordings, instructional materials, and musical instruments
