The Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse is a nonprofit community arts organization dedicated to promoting public awareness and understanding of traditional music—music that is rooted in and expressive of the great variety of regional, ethnic, and social cultures of peoples throughout the world. We are supported by your attendance, grants, musicians' benefit performances, volunteer efforts, and your generous tax deductible donations.
Our friends, Ed and Laura Littlefield, have stepped forward with an exciting challenge grant through their Sage Foundation. If the Freight community contributes $100,000 by the end of this year, their Foundation will match every dollar with two. That's a potential $300,000 you can help us raise.

You can make a donation with cash, check, or credit card at the box office,
by phone at (510) 644-2020, x120, or online.
